GROWING
Einkorn is a grain grown by Young Living Farms in crop rotation with Lavender. Einkorn is a NEVER HYBRIDIZED ANCIENT GRAIN that contains all of the amino acids humans need. Together with Convoy of Hope, we are distributing meals of EINLIFE. It is a specially formulated meal mixed with lentil, rice, einkorn or maize - combined with a healthy balance of vitamins and minerals.
GETTING
Being nourished means living heathier, productive lives as adults. Einkorn is the most primitive form of wheat on Earth. It contains only 14 chromosomes, whereas modern wheat contains 42. Einkorn does not have the D chromosome, which seems to be connected with wheat intolerance in many humans. Einkorn is easier to digest and contains more protein and anti-oxidants than modern wheat. Each dollar spent addressing chronic under-nutrition has a $30 pay off in economic terms.
